Job summary

Proauto Drive Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on Proton vehicles in accordance with SOP. You will service vehicles, use diagnostic tools, and ensure quality checks before handing over to customers.

We value a proactive team player, fresh graduates are welcome, and a valid Class D driving licence with own transport is required. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is essential; you’ll estimate repair times

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of SKM Level II, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Salary will be based on qualifications and relevant working experience.
• Possess a valid Class D driving licence and own transportation.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A proactive team player with a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on Proton vehicles in accordance with SOP.
• Carry out essential services such as oil changes, fluid checks, tyre rotations, brake and sensor replacements, wheel bearing adjustments, and related tasks.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues effectively.
• Conduct thorough quality checks before handing over vehicles to customers.
• Estimate repair times accurately and keep Service Advisors informed of progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area with proper tool care.
• Uphold a professional image and maintain high grooming standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
