Mercedes-Benz Tech Malaysia (MBTMY) is seeking a Team Lead for the Car Embedded On-/Offboard Stream software team. You will lead a high‑performing group, mentor talents, and align activities with global R&D priorities across Malaysia, China, and Germany.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field.
Several years of professional IT/software development management experience.
Experience leading distributed agile development teams across regions.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a high‑performing Car Embedded On-/Offboard Stream software team, covering people leadership, delivery, budget awareness and business management.
Mentor and build capabilities through knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Align activities with MBTMY priorities to support strategic software development topics.
Collaborate cross-region with RD China, RD Germany, and Home of Tech counterparts.
Translate strategic expectations into team focus areas and delivery readiness.
Improve delivery transparency, quality and stakeholder responsiveness.
Ensure compliance and promote collaboration across the organization.
Communicate regularly with direct reports, peers, HoT counterparts and external partners.
