Job summary

NCS Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks an Equipment Technician responsible for failure analysis, repair, and preventive maintenance of electronic and electromechanical medical equipment, using schematics and diagnostic tools.

You will support Manufacturing Engineering and R&D during new product transfers, contribute to validations, and train technicians while traveling to other sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform failure analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of electronic and electromechanical medical equipment.
• Carry out repair, servicing, installation, setup, inspection, testing, calibration, and verification.
• Analyze failures to identify root causes and improve reliability and turnaround time.
• Support new product transfer activities including installation, setup, calibration, debugging, and evaluation.
• Assist with validations, data collection, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and improve repair and maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Provide training to technicians, internal teams, and customers as required.
• Explain product testing procedures during customer visits, inspections, and audits.
• Travel to other sites or vendors to support development and technical activities.
