Job summary

Texas Instruments in Malaysia is seeking a Capital Accountant to manage fixed asset records, ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS, and support financial reporting in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

You will work with project managers, procurement and operations to track capex, perform monthly depreciation, and assist audit and tax compliance. This role offers exposure to cross-functional teams and opportunities to drive process improvements within a global leader in semiconductors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (Hons.) or equivalent with full professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• CGPA 3.0 and above.
• 1-2 years post-graduate accounting experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and the Companies Act.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset register and capitalization per policy.
• Perform monthly depreciation with proper cost allocation.
• Reconcile fixed asset ledger with general ledger and address discrepancies.
• Assist with asset inventories and write-offs.
