Job summary

Kaya by Chemin Sdn Bhd invites fluent Cantonese speakers to join our remote AI annotation community. You will read Traditional Chinese text, segment and annotate audio, and perform QC to ensure top-quality outputs for healthcare-related projects.

Working remotely with flexible hours, you’ll complete onboarding and engage with a growing AI contributor community while earning experience in AI audio projects and benefiting from priority consideration for future Kaya opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Cantonese and able to read and write Traditional Chinese.
• Good command of English.
• Healthcare background or familiarity with medical terminology.
• Familiar with Cantonese Jyutping keyboard input.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain at least 95% accuracy.
• Access to a laptop/desktop, headset and stable internet.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to complete onboarding and pre-assessment.

About The Role

We’re looking for fluent Cantonese speakers who can read and write Traditional Chinese, preferably with a healthcare background or familiarity with medical terminology.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform audio segmentation and annotation (Execution)
• Review and check segmentation quality (QC), depending on your assigned role
• Follow project guidelines and maintain high-quality outputs

Project Details

• Duration: Approximately 2 months
• Project Period: To be confirmed
• Work Arrangement: Fully remote
• Working Hours: Flexible, based on task availability and deadlines
• Audio Length: Up to 2 minutes
• Onboarding: Mandatory training (schedule to be announced)

What Do I Need?

• Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to read and write Traditional Chinese
• Good command of English
• Healthcare background or familiarity with medical terminology
• Familiarity with Cantonese Jyutping keyboard input

Pay Rate & Earning Potential

• Execution: Earn up to USD 4 per hour
• Quality Control (QC): Earn up to USD 6 per hour

Hourly estimates depend on your working speed and task complexity. Payment is based on accepted tasks.
