Job summary

TF AMD MICROELECTRONICS (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Information Technology Engineer to design, implement, and support the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) on the shopfloor. You will assist in configuration, deployment, and upgrades while ensuring integration with other enterprise systems.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience with strong programming skills in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, OOP and Python, plus knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Software Engineering or equivalent
• 1–2 years in supporting applications across distributed environments; fresh graduates are welcome
• Strong programming skills including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, OOP, and Python
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle
• Experience with SOAP UI and RESTful APIs is a plus
• Exposure to MES is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and provide ongoing support for MES
• Assist in MES configuration, deployment, and upgrades; support integration with other systems
• Perform system testing (UAT) and validation for MES changes
• Conduct user training, provide operational guidance, and maintain system documentation
• Design and develop barcode label templates and paperwork forms
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot MES issues to ensure stability and security
• Provide 24x7 on-call MES support on a rotational basis
• Deliver second-level technical support in the shopfloor environment
