Job summary

UST Global in Malaysia is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and enhance MES solutions for semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

You will investigate incidents, collaborate with global teams, contribute to maintenance, testing, deployment, and ensure quality, performance, and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IT/Software Eng or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio IDE and C#/NET development.
• Experience with Oracle DB or other relational DBMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business users, and support teams, to implement software enhancements and change requests.

Ensure software solutions meet quality, performance, and business requirements.

Role & Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required

• Experience working with Oracle Database or other relational database management systems (RDBMS).

Preferred

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably CAMSTAR/Opcenter Execution.
• Experience working in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Good command of English, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, to support communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
