Job summary

AT&S Malaysia in Kulim Hi-Tech Park seeks a CAM/PECAM professional with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and 2+ years of PCB/SMT experience. Proficiency in CAM and InCAM Pro is essential for tooling and production support.

The candidate will read customer data, identify design issues, and drive continuous CAM workflow improvements. Collaboration, independence, and strong communication are required in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years PECAM experience in PCB/SMT substrates.
• Good IT knowledge, especially CAM.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Proficient with InCAM Pro to generate tooling for production and utilize its features.
• Read customer data into CAM workstation to identify design features for future use.
• Review customer designs to identify issues and clarify data preparation needs.
• Identify long-term CAM workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
• Prepare tooling for daily production with high efficiency and quality.
• Prepare trials and rework tools to support testing and rework.
• Control error rates and implement improvement actions.
• Implement engineering change requests on tooling with traceability.
• Maintain data backup systems keeping customer data intact.
• Provide training and share knowledge within the team.
• Follow SSS and design guidelines in tooling work.
• Optimize CAM preparation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Follow project leader requirements within ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with production teams to understand needs.
• Complete other assignments from supervisor on time.
• Share daily business updates and new technologies with supervisor.
• Prepare CAM work instructions to train new CAM members.
• Adhere to procedures, process instructions and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of FMEA and implementation of guidelines.
• Update standard department documents and checklists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
