Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly, proactive cafe team member to join our Bayan Lepas, Penang location. You will welcome customers, take orders, serve drinks and food, and handle the POS with accuracy.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and good hygiene. Training is provided; weekend and holiday shifts may be required. You will help maintain cleanliness and assist with opening and closing duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous café/coffee shop/bar experience preferred but not essential (training provided)
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and food hygiene practices is an advantage
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, take orders, and recommend menu items or promotions.
• Serve food and beverages while ensuring excellent customer service.
• Operate the POS system and process customer payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Conduct weekly stock counts to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Support other café operations whenever required.
