Job summary

Fuji SMBE Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Johor is seeking a Mechanical Engineering graduate to prepare and revise 2D drawings and 3D models according to customer requirements and manufacturing specifications. You will issue job orders, coordinate with production, planning and quality teams, and maintain engineering documentation.

The role involves liaising with customers to clarify drawings, check dimensions and material specs, and assist with improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD software for 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and prevent errors.
• Clear communication with customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of metal enclosure design or sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D engineering drawings and 3D models per customer requirements and manufacturing specs.
• Prepare and issue job orders with accurate drawings and production information.
• Liaise with customers to clarify drawing requirements and coordinate revisions.
• Coordinate with production, planning and quality teams to support timely manufacturing.
• Maintain engineering documentation, drawing registers and revision records.
• Prepare bills of materials and material requirements for procurement and production.
• Check drawings for dimensions, material specs and manufacturability before release.
• Assist in investigating fabrication or assembly issues and propose improvements.
• Undertake other engineering duties as assigned.
