Flextronics Technology (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Manager to lead complex system analyses and drive automated solutions that enhance operational efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

The role oversees IT system development projects and maintains information systems in alignment with business needs. Key responsibilities include identifying system improvements, preparing specifications for developers, and supervising project delivery.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Programming, or related fields.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, IT systems delivery, or manufacturing systems.
• Experience and knowledge of computerized databases, supply chain management, and process guidelines.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• A proactive, adaptable team player with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage assigned projects effectively and ensure their successful completion.

Responsibilities

Responsible for analyzing complex business problems and developing automated system solutions to improve operational efficiency. This role supports IT system development projects and oversees the administration and maintenance of the organization's information systems to ensure reliability and alignment with business and user requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

Identify opportunities for system improvements and oversee their implementation to meet business and customer requirements.

Provide support for customer applications and analyze new business requirements.

Supervise staff in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.

Prepare functional and technical specifications for developers.

Analyze, define, and document system requirements, including data, workflows, processes, interfaces, controls, and outputs.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Educational background in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Programming, or related fields, or equivalent relevant working experience.

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, IT systems delivery, or manufacturing systems, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

Experience and knowledge of computerized databases, supply chain management, and process guidelines.

Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

A proactive, adaptable team player with a willingness to learn.

Ability to manage assigned projects effectively and ensure their successful completion.
