Job summary

Flex, a diversified manufacturing partner, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will scope environments, gather ERP requirements, and train users on Baan/LN and related modules while contributing to go-live activities.

Occasional travel and after-hours meetings may be required. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in CS/IS and 3–5 years ERP experience, especially in procurement and planning operations.

Qualifications

• ERP knowledge focused on procurement and planning operations.
• Experience training users on ERP systems and conducting testing.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems required.

Responsibilities

• Scope current environment and gather requirements from project sites.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Business Systems Analyst located in Batu Kawan, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

• Scoping exercise to find out the current environment and gather requirements from project sites.
• Training of Key users on the use of ERP (Baan, LN,etc) in general and the planning/procurement module in specific and related sub-systems.
• Design processes that will adhere to predefined standard process.
• Conduct a testing session with the user on the use of ERP application and other sub-systems.
• Conduct testing on development solutions that are requested for the project you are working on.
• Setup of system and master data for go-live migration, may include liaising with multiple expert teams on the setup of various sub-systems.
• Perform post-live support.
• Attend global meetings relevant to implementation - since it is global, may involve after-office / evening/ night meetings.
• Attend training on systems, products, processes etc - local or global - mainly relevant to your job scope.
• Join developments, solution team as part of GD as advisor, SME, POC, testing, verification etc.
• Depending on the situation, project size, and resource availability, there will be times you may need to assume the Project Manager role.
• Travel to sites is required according to the project requirements.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3-5 years of work experience in ERP knowledge especially in Procurement/Planning Operations
