Job summary

Lam Research in Penang, Malaysia, offers a 6-month internship to support the Global/Regional Business Operations team with admin, AI and analytics tasks. You will help develop prototypes, dashboards and AI agents to improve efficiency.

Ideal candidates are final-year undergraduates in AI, CS, Software Engineering, DS, or Analytics, with knowledge of Generative AI, Power BI, Copilot or similar tools, and basic Python/JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI or similar AI tools.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript or related languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position provides general administrative, AI and analytical support to the Global / Regional Business Operations team.

What You’ll Do

• Support the development of AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI, Python and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Assist in developing prototypes, automations, dashboards and AI agents to improve operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for business applications.
• Ensure reliability, consistency and quality of all data management and reporting deliverables.
• Any other general administrative duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

Who We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics and Information Systems
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs)
