Lockton in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Business Manager to the CEO, acting as trusted partner to drive strategic priorities, executive alignment, and organisational effectiveness. This role operates at the centre of the business, coordinating priorities and supporting decision-making on enterprise-wide initiatives.

You will lead governance and stakeholder engagement, prepare briefing materials, manage cross-functional projects, and draft executive communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline with a strong academic track record.
  • 2-5 years of experience in fast paced and high performance environment such as consulting, banking, advisory or a high-growth organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience synthesizing complex information into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, maturity, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of executive leadership, board, and key stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear alignment, decision-making, and follow-through.
  • Coordinate with senior leaders and external stakeholders to prepare briefing materials, drive action plans, and ensure timely delivery of strategic priorities.
  • Synthesize complex information, business insights, and industry trends into concise recommendations and briefing documents for the CEO.
  • Lead and execute high-priority strategic initiatives sponsored by the CEO's Office.
  • Drive cross-functional projects, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned, accountable, and focused on delivering outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organisational efficiency, decision-making processes, and business performance.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and business evaluations to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Draft and coordinate executive communications, presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Support the CEO in preparing for key meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Serve as a key liaison across the organisation, facilitating effective communication between the CEO and senior stakeholders.
  • Support the prioritisation of the CEO's agenda, ensuring focus remains on the organisation's most critical business objectives.
  • Exercise sound judgement and discretion in managing sensitive information and stakeholder interactions.
  • Act as a central coordination point for key activities and initiatives managed through the CEO's Office.
