Job summary

Wah Ma Technology Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a driven Business Development professional to identify new opportunities in plastics and polymers. The role focuses on building a robust customer pipeline, delivering strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth.

You will conduct market visits, present solutions, and provide forecasts and market intelligence to guide management decisions. Independent, results-oriented individuals with 3–5 years in BD or sales are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, polymer engineering, materials science, chemistry, business or marketing.
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Experience in B2B sales and client relationship management preferred.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in plastics and polymers compounds products.
Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential customers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
Conduct market visits and customer presentations to promote products and solutions.
Prepare sales forecasts, business development reports, and market intelligence updates.
Analyze sales performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Present business performance updates to management.
Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
Strong business development and sales management skills.
Good understanding of polymer markets and applications.
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
