RHB Insurance Berhad is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to drive growth and profitability through effective management of agency and direct portfolios. You will expand market share, strengthen agency networks, and lead strategic marketing initiatives to achieve targets.

Responsibilities include supporting the Branch Manager, growing agency and direct portfolios, collaborating with underwriters, and driving recruitment programmes while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification from a government-recognized institution in Malaysia.
• Knowledge or experience in the insurance industry is encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of insurance products and market practices.

• Manage and grow agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios to improve productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on the acceptance of new risks within authority limits set by Head Office.
• Drive Agency Recruitment Programmes to strengthen and expand the agency force.
• Organize relationship enhancement activities to maintain strong engagement with agents and business partners.
• Conduct agency portfolio segmentation and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Review and monitor product portfolios to ensure competitiveness and market relevance.
• Identify market opportunities and develop structured marketing strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate surveys and risk management programmes for Banca Retail clients.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Control policies, regulatory requirements, and Company guidelines.
• Ensure all business activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory guidelines and Company policies.
