Job summary

RHB Insurance Berhad is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive (Bancassurance Sales) to drive growth by managing agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios. You will work to expand market share, strengthen agency networks, and support marketing initiatives to reach targets.

You should have a relevant degree, knowledge of the insurance industry, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of achieving profitability and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
• Knowledge or experience in the insurance industry encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of insurance products.
• Proven ability to achieve profitability and sales targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong network.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in business development and insurance welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in formulating and implementing marketing strategies for the Agency channel.
• Manage and grow agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on new risks within approved authority limits.
• Drive Agency Recruitment Programmes to strengthen the agency force.
• Organize relationship activities to engage agents and partners.
• Segment agency portfolios and identify growth opportunities.
• Review product portfolios for competitiveness and market relevance.
• Identify market opportunities and develop marketing strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate surveys and risk management programmes for Banca Retail clients.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Control policies, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
