Job summary

Bitlab Digital in Kuala Lumpur invites a motivated Business Analyst / Project Coordinator Intern to join our growing team. You will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—gathering requirements, planning solutions, coordinating development, testing, and deployment.

You will work alongside experienced Business Analysts, Project Managers, Designers, and Developers on real client projects, supported by monthly internship allowances.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate in a team.
• Available for minimum internship period of 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and internal discussions.
• Prepare meeting minutes, action items, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Translate business needs into requirements for design and development teams.
• Assist in preparing process flows, user journeys, and wireframes.
• Support Project Managers in coordinating day-to-day activities and deliverables.
• Track project progress, milestones, tasks, and issues.
• Maintain project documentation and status reports using Jira.
• Follow up with internal teams to ensure tasks stay on schedule.
• Assist in preparing project presentations and client communications.
• Support UAT by preparing test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional testing and document defects.
• Coordinate with developers to verify issue resolution.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations.
• Research digital trends and potential solutions; collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers.
• Explore technologies including CMS platforms, cloud services, and AI-powered solutions.

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Project Coordinator Intern to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real client projects, working alongside experienced Business Analysts, Project Managers, Designers, and Developers.

You’ll be involved in the entire project delivery lifecycle — from understanding business requirements and planning solutions to coordinating development, testing, and deployment.

What You’ll Do

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and internal discussions.
• Prepare meeting minutes, action items, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Help translate business needs into clear requirements for design and development teams.
• Assist in preparing process flows, user journeys, and wireframes.

Project Coordination & Delivery

• Support Project Managers in coordinating day-to-day project activities and deliverables.
• Track project progress, milestones, tasks, and outstanding issues.
• Maintain project documentation, task boards, and status reports using tools such as Jira.
• Follow up with internal teams to ensure tasks are progressing according to schedule.
• Assist in preparing project presentations, progress updates, and client communications.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparing test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional testing, identify issues, and document defects.
• Coordinate with developers to track and verify issue resolution.
• Help ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations.

Research & Collaboration

• Conduct research on digital trends, competitors, and potential solutions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and other project stakeholders.
• Explore new technologies, including CMS platforms, cloud services, and AI-powered solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
