Job summary

Bunge in Pasir Gudang, Johor is hiring for a boiler operation role. The incumbent will manage daily broiler operation routines, oversee boiler machinery, and ensure strict safety compliance in all processes within a production environment in Malaysia.

The position requires vigilance, adherence to ISO/GMP/FSSC standards, and readiness to perform housekeeping tasks while supporting shift schedules and ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain steam pressure at 15-16 bars at all times.
• Be vigilant & alert as boilers are pressure vessels.
• Prevent accidents & damage to vessels.
• Keep other boilers in standby with pressure.
• Prepare boilers, deaerator & softeners for annual inspection by JKKP officer.
• Make sure all pumps & instruments are in good working conditions at all times.
• Test all the safety features of boiler once in a while whether they are working or not.
• Repair any leak/ breakdown quickly.
• Report to immediate Manager in case of emergency, breakdown or any other problems
• Handle cleaning & housekeeping activities
• Adhere to ISO, GMP, FSSC Compliance and implement
• Observe Safety standard in operation activities and machine handling.
• Adhere to work/ shift scheduling given and standby for any ad hoc work request.
• Carry any other task assigned by superior.
