Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Facilities Operator in Johor Bahru to ensure reliable operation of critical electrical and mechanical systems. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely corrective works to maximise uptime.

The role requires a BO Chargeman (33kV) certification and willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, with experience in data center environments considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of data center critical facilities, including electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective works to maintain optimal system performance and uptime
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and M&E issues to minimize downtime and operational risks
• Act as the first responder during incidents, ensuring proper escalation and timely resolution
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with established safety procedures and regulatory requirements
