Job summary

BIMAGE Consulting (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a technically skilled BIM Trainer & Infrastructure Design Engineer in Malaysia to lead Autodesk Civil 3D training from beginner to advanced levels and to support infrastructure tenders and live projects using BIM and engineering expertise.

The role combines training delivery with BIM implementation, infrastructure design workflows, and project delivery support across civil elements such as surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors and pipe networks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil/Infrastructure BIM or related field is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in Civil 3D, BIM or infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Proficient in surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe networks and grading.
• Experience in tender preparation and technical documentation is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Autodesk Civil 3D training programmes from Beginner to Advanced.
• Conduct practical hands-on training covering real-world infrastructure design workflows.
• Prepare training materials, exercises, project templates and datasets.
• Train users on Civil 3D best practices, modelling standards and workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to trainees.
• Continuously update training content based on industry developments.
• Support infrastructure projects using Autodesk Civil 3D and related BIM technologies.
• Develop and review Civil 3D models, surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors and pipe networks.
• Support BIM coordination and model development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply BIM standards and procedures to infrastructure projects.
• Assist project teams in implementing digital design and BIM workflows.

We are looking for a technically skilled BIM Trainer & Infrastructure Design Engineer with strong knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and infrastructure design workflows. The role combines technical training, BIM implementation, infrastructure engineering, tender preparation, and project delivery support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Civil 3D training from beginner to advanced levels while also supporting infrastructure tenders and live projects through BIM and engineering expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Autodesk Civil 3D training programmes from Beginner, Intermediate to Advanced levels.
• Conduct practical, hands‑on training covering real-world infrastructure design workflows.
• Prepare training materials, exercises, project templates and datasets.
• Train users on Civil 3D best practices, modelling standards, workflows and productivity techniques.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to trainees.
• Continuously develop and update training content based on industry requirements and Autodesk technology developments.
• Support infrastructure projects using Autodesk Civil 3D and related BIM technologies.
• Develop and review Civil 3D models, surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe networks and other infrastructure elements.
• Support BIM coordination and model development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply BIM standards, modelling procedures and project requirements to infrastructure projects.
• Assist project teams in implementing efficient digital design and BIM workflows.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, BIM or related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Civil 3D, BIM or infrastructure design.

Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.

Proficient in surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe networks and grading.

Experience in tender preparation and technical documentation is an added advantage.

Experience in Civil 3D training or technical training is an advantage.

Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Able to conduct hands‑on technical training and explain technical concepts clearly.

Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to travel for training, site visits or project requirements when required.
