Job summary

LanTro (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for M&E systems using Revit. You will coordinate models with architectural and structural disciplines to minimize clashes and produce accurate shop drawings from BIM data.

The role requires hands-on BIM experience, proficiency in Revit, and a strong understanding of M&E coordination, with opportunities to participate in site coordination and ongoing BIM technology updates.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on BIM modelling for M&E systems.
• Proficient in Revit; familiarity with Navisworks/AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Experience producing shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of clash detection and issue resolution.
• Able to interpret BIM Execution Plans and project standards.
• Good communication and teamwork across disciplines.
• Willing to attend site meetings and on-site coordination.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, committed to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for M&E systems using Revit.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and other disciplines to minimize clashes.
• Produce accurate shop drawings, schedules, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Perform clash detection and proactively resolve coordination issues.
• Ensure all models comply with the BIM Execution Plan and project standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain model accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in coordination meetings and support site inspections when required.
• Stay updated with latest BIM technologies and industry best practices.
