Inazume (M) Sdn Bhd, a well-established contractor in Malaysia, seeks a BIM Modeller to develop high-quality BIM models from design to as-built stages. You will coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated designs.

The role requires 1–2 years of BIM modelling/drafting experience, Revit certification, and strong knowledge of CAD tools. Training will be provided to support ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in BIM modelling and drafting in construction.
• Certificate in Revit for advanced architecture or AHVAN structure.
• Background in Civil, Structural, Architectural disciplines.
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk cloud collaboration, AutoCAD; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Develop BIM models from design to as-built stages and coordinate with other services.
• Read and understand design drawings and specs; amend drawings/models in BIM independently.
• Produce 2D floor plans, sections, elevations, and schedules from the BIM model.

Description du poste

• 3D Model Authoring: Develop high-quality 3D models using software like Autodesk Revit. This includes modeling architectural, structural, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Clash Detection & Resolution: Use tools like Navisworks or Solibri to identify "clashes" where building elements overlap. You will work with engineers to fix these virtually before construction begins.
• Documentation Production: Generate accurate 2D floor plans, sections, elevations, and schedules directly from the 3D model to ensure consistency. Produce ans submit shop drawings.
• Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings to ensure all design teams (architects, structural engineers, etc.) are working in a unified digital environment.
• Model Maintenance: Update the model throughout the project lifecycle to reflect design changes, RFI (Request for Information) responses, and site conditions.

Job Requirements:

Preferably with a minimum of 1-2 year’s working experience in BIM modelling and drafting or equivalent experience in the construction industry.

Certificate in Revit certified user for advance architecture or ahvan structure.

Background in Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) related background, understanding in the requirements of creating model for every disciplines.

Have a good knowledge of drafting software such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk cloud collaboration, Autodesk CAD and etc, training will be provided.

Well-versed in using BIM software such as Revit, CAD, and others.

Develop BIM models from the design stage to the as-built stage, and coordinate with all other services.

Able to read and understand design drawings, technical specifications, and amend drawings/models in the BIM model independently.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly resolve technical issues during the modelling process.

Good teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and disciplines.

Experience with façade industries, including façade panels, cladding, windows, aluminium, unitized curtain wall systems, steel, and fabrication, is an added advantage.

Experience with trades such as architectural finishes, doors, paint, AAC walls, and brick walls is also advantageous.
