Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Civil BIM Engineer to produce BIM models, schedules and 3D detailing for sewer, drainage and road projects. You will support both local and overseas teams with Archicad, Revit and AutoCAD workflows, ensuring high-quality 3D modelling and precise 2D detailing.

The role requires 5+ years in civil BIM delivery, strong coordination across CS, AR and MEP, and proficiency in Excel for data management. Join a collaborative, deadline-driven environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree required.
• Experience in sewer, drainage and road projects.
• 5+ years in civil engineering with BIM delivery.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Produce BIM models including preparation of general arrangement plans and schedules.
• Provide BIM and drafting support to Singapore C&S team.
• Produce sewer, drainage and traffic plan. Provide reinforce concrete detailing (Box culvert and Box drain)
• Produce quantity schedules using BIM.
• Collaborate and coordinate with CS, AR and MEP both within local and overseas teams.
• Provide BIM Modelling and coordination works

Requirements

• Civil Engineering graduate.
• Proficient in structural detailing and modelling:
• At least 5 years experience in Civil engineering with experience in sewer, drainage and road.
• At least 5 years experience in Archicad, Revit and AutoCAD. Archicad experience is preferred. Knowledge in Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Solibri is a plus.
• Passionate about Structural 3D modelling and 2D detailing to deliver with high quality.
• Able to interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Proficient in Office applications especially Excel.
• Able to communicate to local and overseas clients.
• With good work ethics and management skills and ability to adapt in tight deadlines.
• Experience in BIM model federation, coordination and clash detections.
