Job summary

Protech Builders Sdn. Bhd. seeks a BIM Manager (Electrical) to lead BIM for electrical projects, develop standards, templates, and workflows, and ensure accurate, coordinated models. You will set up and coordinate BIM models across all stages and supervise clashes with project teams.

Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or BIM, plus 3–5 years in building BIM, especially for electrical contractors; proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; knowledge of electrical standards and sequencing.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, BIM, or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in BIM for building projects, preferably with electrical contractors.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.
• Good understanding of electrical installation, standards, and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows for electrical works.
• Set up, manage, and coordinate BIM models (LOD as required) for electrical services across all project stages.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and contractors to resolve clashes and design issues.

• Produce drawings, schedules, and quantities from BIM models to support design, tender, and construction.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
• Train and support engineers, coordinators, and draftsmen in BIM software and best practices.

We are looking for a BIM Manager (Electrical) to lead and coordinate all BIM activities for our electrical projects. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing BIM standards and processes, and ensuring accurate, coordinated electrical models are delivered on time. Must be familiar with Revit.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows for electrical works.

Set up, manage, and coordinate BIM models (LOD as required) for electrical services across all project stages.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and contractors to resolve clashes and design issues.

Review and verify model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project and client requirements.

Produce drawings, schedules, and quantities from BIM models to support design, tender, and construction.

Requirements

Experience with clash detection and 4D/5D BIM.
