Job summary

Aurex Group requires an experienced BIM Lead to oversee data-driven BIM coordination and model management for major projects in Malaysia and across APAC. The role focuses on timely, accurate BIM information delivery and governance, collaborating with in-house teams, consultants and subcontractors to uphold standards.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record on active construction projects, strong skills in BIM data management, and proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction

Qualifications

• Live experience as BIM Lead/Manager or similar on active construction projects.
• Experience delivering BIM-enabled projects across Malaysia and/or Southeast Asia/APAC.
• Strong capability in BIM data management, model auditing, clash analysis, reporting, information governance and compliance with BIM execution plans.
• Experience using BIM platforms and data/coordination tools (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Solibri, Power BI).
• Track record coordinating multiple consultants, contractors and subcontractors to maintain model quality and schedule alignment.
• Experience establishing or improving BIM workflows, dashboards and reporting processes.

Job description

We have been engaged by an international contractor to identify an experienced, data-driven BIM Lead. Our client is investing in additional digital expertise to strengthen BIM coordination, model quality, information management and data-led project controls.

Based in Malaysia, you will take ownership of the timely, accurate, and coordinated delivery of BIM information in line with programme requirements and project standards. Working closely with internal delivery teams, consultants, subcontractors, and external BIM partners, you will use BIM data to improve coordination, identify risks early, monitor model performance and support more informed construction decisions.

This is an opportunity for a hands‑on BIM professional who has delivered complex BIM projects across Southeast Asia or the wider APAC region, and has interest bringing a structured, analytical approach to model management and digital delivery. Over time, the role offers potential to contribute to broader BIM and digital‑construction strategy across the business.

• The ability to train and guide project teams in BIM processes, model-management protocols, and data-led coordination practices.
• A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, architecture, digital engineering, or a related discipline.
