China Construction Yangtze River (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Kuala Lumpur to manage BIM activities on ongoing projects. You will proficiently use Revit to collect models, run clash detection, and generate reports while coordinating with consultants and site teams.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Preferably with 3 years relevant working experience
• Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Construction Management or related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked and fast paced environment with firm deadlines
• Required Skill(s): Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision and computer literate

Responsabilités

• Use Revit to collect BIM models from disciplines and conduct clash detection
• Draft RFIs based on clash reports and coordinate model modifications
• Inspect subcontractor models for various disciplines
• Develop BIM execution plan and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Ensure BIM is on time, within budget, and meets quality standards
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and prepare minutes
• Create node models and support model presentations
• Collect models and generate coordination drawings
• Create structural and architectural discipline models and update per drawings
• Coordinate BIM data exchange between site and BIM teams
• Facilitate communication among project teams including consultants and owners
• Complete other BIM-related tasks assigned by the technical manager

• Proficiently use Revit software to collect BIM models from various disciplines according to contracts, consultant, and project requirements, conduct clash detection for each discipline's models, and generate clash detection reports.
• Draft Requests for Information (RFI) based on clash detection reports, send them to consultants, and make model modifications based on consultant feedback.
• Inspect subcontractor models for various disciplines.
• Develop a BIM execution plan and ensure timely completion of project tasks as required by the project department and consultants.
• Ensure BIM is completed on time, within budget, and meets the quality standards specified in the contract.
• Participate in and lead BIM coordination meetings organized by consultants, prepare meeting minutes, and provide feedback to the project while proposing solutions.
• Create node models as per project requirements, assisting the technical manager in model presentations.
• Collect models from various disciplines and generate coordination drawings.
• Create structural and architectural discipline models, and make adjustments according to the latest drawings.
• Coordinate the exchange of BIM data between the site team and the BIM team to ensure accurate, complete, and timely information updates.
• Facilitate cooperation and communication among project site teams, including consultants, general contractors, and owners.
• Complete other BIM-related tasks assigned by the technical manager.
