Job summary

Veritas Design Group is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Kuala Lumpur to coordinate BIM implementation across multiple projects, ensuring models comply with BEP and company standards, managing the CDE, and monitoring deliverables and clashes.

You will lead BIM coordination meetings with project teams, consultants, and contractors, provide guidance to BIM Modellers, and support the continuous improvement of BIM templates, workflows, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating BIM on large projects across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with BIM software and standards to support BEP compliance.
• Ability to review models for accuracy and to resolve clashes efficiently.

Job description

• Coordinate and manage BIM implementation across
  assigned projects.
• Ensure BIM models are developed in accordance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and company standards.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to identify and resolve clashes before construction.
• Review and monitor BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
• Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings with project teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide technical support and guidance to BIM Modellers and project teams on BIM processes and software.
• Maintain and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring project information is up to date and properly controlled.
• Monitor BIM deliverables, project milestones, and model quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare BIM reports, clash detection reports, and model coordination updates for project stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and improving BIM standards, templates, workflows, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, quality management system, and BIM standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the BIM Manager, Project Director, or Management.
