Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM Coordinator to coordinate electrical BIM models and ensure they align with BEP, standards, and best practices. You will perform clash detection, model auditing, and multidisciplinary coordination to support project teams.

Responsibilities include updating BIM data, producing reports and visuals for submissions, and presenting findings in coordination meetings. A Diploma/Degree in a related field and 1+ year of BIM experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Electrical or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in BIM coordination or BIM modelling.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, building systems, and coordination processes.
• Experience in clash detection, model auditing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Familiarity with Malaysian BIM standards (e.g., MyBIM) and ISO 19650 is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CDE platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, Glodon, or Dalux is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage BIM models for electrical.
• Ensure BIM processes comply with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), company standards, and industry best practices.
• Conduct model checks, clash detection, and coordination using Navisworks and Revit.
• Update, maintain, and manage model versions and BIM data integrity.
• Support project teams with BIM-related technical guidance and troubleshooting.
• Prepare BIM reports, drawings, and visualizations for project submissions and presentations.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to resolve modelling or coordination issues.
• Participate in coordination meetings and present BIM findings when necessary.
