Job summary

Gratitude Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst who is fluent in Japanese and English and is onsite in Petaling Jaya. The role covers day-to-day AP operations, PO and contract invoices, and month-end close in a control-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting degree, at least 2 years in transactional accounting, and hands-on SAP or similar ERP experience, with ACCA/CPA/MIA as a bonus.

Qualifications

• A degree in Finance & Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) are an advantage.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English & Japanese Languages.
• At least 2 years of experience in transactional accounting teams within a performance-driven environment.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP or other ERP/Accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process AP documents, PO/contract invoices, non-PO invoices, and prepayments.
• Perform month-end closing activities and KPI reporting for affiliates.
• Reconcile AP balance sheet accounts and clear aged items; support audits and internal controls.
• Troubleshoot AP issues and collaborate with IT, Automation, GBPS to implement improvements.
• Provide mentorship and internal training for new joiners and support process improvements.
