Job summary

Pusat Tuisyen Genesis Elite in Johor Bahru is seeking a responsible Admin Cum Chinese-Speaking Teacher to join our tuition centre. The role combines front-desk administration with occasional Chinese teaching duties for primary students.

You will manage student registrations, class records, schedules, invoicing and communications with parents, while also supporting teaching activities as needed. Fresh graduates welcome; training provided.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate and write well in Chinese.
• Basic communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily administrative and general office duties.
• Manage student registration, attendance and class records.
• Arrange and update students’ class schedules.
• Communicate with parents regarding class schedules and inquiries.
• Handle WhatsApp messages and follow up with parents.
• Prepare invoices, receipts and maintain basic payment records.
• Organise and maintain student files, documents and teaching materials.
• Assist with printing, photocopying and preparation of worksheets.
• Coordinate with teachers regarding students’ schedules and class arrangements.
• Assist with tuition centre activities, events and holiday programmes.
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional front desk/admin area.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
• Teach Chinese to primary students when required.
