Job summary

New Chen Motor Credit Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru is seeking a skilled Motorbike Mechanic to join our service team.

You will inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair motorcycles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. We value safety, teamwork and ongoing training. With at least one year of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills and a valid Malaysian driving licence, you will contribute to customer satisfaction and service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Motorbike Technician or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of motorcycle engines, transmissions, electrical and braking systems.
• Able to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, quality-conscious and committed to workplace safety.
• Good communication and basic customer service skills.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and be able to operate motorcycles safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic motorcycle faults.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups and brake inspections.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet company quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, job progress and parts used.
• Explain motorcycle conditions and repair recommendations clearly to customers.
• Take proper care of tools and equipment and maintain an organised work area.
• Work closely with the team to complete daily repairs and vehicle deliveries.
