Job summary

Robert Bosch Power Tools Sdn Bhd is seeking a Battery Testing Engineer in Penang to lead testing, qualification, and analysis of battery packs. You will drive problem resolution and implement improvements to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, 3+ years in electronics manufacturing, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. On-site work in Bayan Lepas with CodeBeamer and other QA tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum of 3 years in an electronic manufacturing environment (Engineering, Quality or Testing).
• Knowledge/experience in cell or battery pack manufacturing and testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and qualification of batteries to meet schedules and produce accurate reports.
• Perform failure analysis and postmortem on defects using RCA, 5 Why’s or FTA.
• Review and improve Battery test plans; ensure test method alignment across labs.
