Job summary

Dimension Bid Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Base Support Engineer to supervise daily base operations, warehouse activities, and logistics coordination at Kemaman, Terengganu. The role focuses on inventory control, safety, and efficient resource management.

You will liaise with offshore teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support operational requirements. Requirements include a Diploma in Engineering and at least 5 years in project coordination or related fields, with preference for Oil

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in project coordination, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and ensure safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse, yard, and logistics operations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of equipment and materials.
• Ensure proper documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and conduct stock reconciliations.
• Coordinate storage, staging, and dispatch of oilfield equipment and materials.
• Supervise yard personnel, forklift operators, and crane operators to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
• Liaise with offshore teams, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support operational requirements.
• Monitor third-party logistics providers and transportation contractors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties assigned by management.

We are looking for a proactive Base Support Engineer to oversee daily base operations, warehouse activities, logistics coordination, inventory control, and personnel supervision. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment, materials, and resources are managed efficiently while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards. This role will be based at Kemaman, Terengganu.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience in project coordination, warehouse operations, logistics, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with Oil & Gas industry exposure.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems, CAMMS system, and inventory control processes.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and safe material handling practices.
• Forklift or crane operation certification will be an added advantage.
