Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an experienced professional to supervise a repair and maintenance facility in Labuan, Malaysia. The role requires organizing activities for down-hole, electronic, and surface equipment maintenance while ensuring adherence to global standards.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years in equipment repair and maintenance, with supervisory experience and a degree or equivalent. Management experience is preferred and HSE compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience in supervising and managing technicians preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repair and maintenance facility operations.
• Ensure equipment is maintained according to global maintenance standards and guidelines.
• Mentor and train technicians; supervise ongoing training and development.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and ensure timely maintenance.
• Evaluate equipment and recommend improvements based on maintenance history.

Job Duties

• Under broad direction, supervises a repair and maintenance facility by organizing and coordinating activities involved in maintaining and repairing down-hole, electronic, and surface equipment for one or more product lines.
• Ensures equipment is maintained according to global maintenance standards.
• Mentors employees on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Oversees training and development of technicians.
• Ensures compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines and that safety procedures are followed during the repair process.
• Orders and efficiently maintains an adequate inventory of parts and supplies to ensure timely maintenance.
• Promotes continuous improvement of shop processes.
• Areas of specialization may include mechanical or electrical aptitude and performing major repairs & maintenance.
• Assists in making evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history.
• Requires an Associate's Degree, or equivalent, and a minimum of five years of experience, including as an equipment repair and maintenance technician.
• Management experience is preferred.
