Job summary

SOUL EATERY SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a part-time service staff to prepare and serve coffee and tea, handle payments, maintain cleanliness, and follow health and safety standards.

The role requires English proficiency, strong customer service and multitasking abilities, with a diploma or professional certificate considered an advantage. Prior retail/hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g: preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios).
• Prepare beverages following recipes.
• Serve beverages and prepared food.
• Always maintain and keep the bar and cashier area clean.
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.
• Take inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers/ POS system, ensure price is correct.
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit, maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store. Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction.
