About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our dynamic team at ABCD in Sunway Iskandar Johor Bahru. As a Barista cum Service Crew, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional coffee and beverage and serve our customers. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the growth of our vibrant hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of high-quality coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, specialty drinks, and non-coffee options

Serving food and beverages to customers in a professional and courteous manner

Take customer orders accurately, handle cash and/or POS transactions, and respond to customer enquiries or feedback appropriately.

Ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience by providing friendly and knowledgeable service

Maintaining a clean and organised work area, following strict hygiene and safety protocols

Assisting with inventory management and restocking of coffee and bar supplies

Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to deliver a seamless customer journey

Continuously expanding your knowledge of coffee and beverage trends to provide recommendations and enhance the customer experience

Assist with daily café operations including opening and closing duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Barista and Service Crew or in a similar role

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality

Proficiency in preparing a wide range of coffee and specialty drinks

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
