Job summary

LAKESIDE@SIC in Malaysia is seeking a friendly barista to prepare and serve coffee, beverages and light foods to customers. You will handle orders, maintain the café area, ensure hygiene, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Training will be provided for those with cafe experience and you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and a pleasant guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and other drinks according to café standards.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders and ensure orders are served accurately and promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the barista station, dining area, tables, and chairs.
• Assist with setting up and closing the café when required.
• Ensure equipment, utensils, and workstations are clean and properly maintained.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customers’ requests or enquiries professionally.
• Assist the team with daily café operations and other duties as assigned.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures at all times.
• Work well as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods
