Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Experienced Data Engineering Lead to guide large-scale banking data migration and modernization efforts. You will architect and deliver end-to-end migration strategies, build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensure secure, compliant data solutions across platforms.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with regional stakeholders, and drive governance, data modeling, and performance optimizations to support reporting and analytics.

• Led teams of Data Engineers, ETL Developers, and Data Analysts.
• Managed project planning, sprint delivery, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
• Mentored engineers and established engineering standards, coding practices, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data engineering activities for banking transformation and migration projects.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for migrating data from legacy core banking systems to modern cloud platforms.
• Define migration strategies, including data mapping, profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, business analysts, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish data quality, governance, security, and regulatory compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support reporting and analytics.
• Lead a team of data engineers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and best practices.
• Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and scalability of data pipelines.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-migration validation activities.
• Manage project risks, issue resolution, resource planning, and delivery timelines.
