Job summary

Future Food in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking hands-on production staff for bakery and pastry. The role focuses on assisting in production, ensuring recipe accuracy, and maintaining quality and hygiene standards within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will work closely with the Chef de Partie to support daily production tasks, uphold food-safety practices, and deliver consistent products according to approved specifications.

Qualifications

• Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear the required PPE
• Ensure ingredients are handled, stored and prepared correctly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils and equipment
• Follow allergen-control procedures where applicable

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of bakery and pastry products
• Perform weighing, mixing, preparation, proofing, baking, decorating, finishing and other production processes as assigned
• Follow approved recipes, formulations and production specifications accurately
• Ensure correct portioning, product size, weight, appearance and consistency
• Complete assigned production tasks within the required production schedule
• Assist the Chef de Partie with daily production activities and special production requirements
• Check the quality, appearance, texture and consistency of products during production
• Ensure products meet approved standards before proceeding to the next production stage
• Report defects, abnormal results or quality issues to the Chef de Partie immediately
• Follow HACCP, GMP, food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
