Job summary

Miyou Pastry is hiring for a kitchen role in Malaysia. You will prepare and measure ingredients, maintain high standards of quality and presentation, and ensure clean, hygienic work areas in line with HACCP rules.

You will assist in packing orders and monitor stock using FIFO, working closely with the kitchen team to meet daily schedules. The role involves supporting new product development and seasonal production, and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Malaysia; employer sponsorship or work visa support is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately before production (mise en place).
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations at all times.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
• Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Store ingredients properly using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to meet daily production schedules.
• Support new product development and seasonal production when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
