Job summary

Novus Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Golang Backend Engineer to design, develop and optimize scalable services in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will work with AWS, microservices, and distributed systems, building high-throughput REST APIs, implementing robust data access with SQL/NoSQL databases, and ensuring performance and reliability in production. Familiarity with containers and cloud deployments is essential.

Mandatory Requirements

Strong hands‑on experience in Golang (Go) development.

Good experience with AWS cloud services and cloud‑based application development.

Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, Distributed Systems, and REST API Development.

Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and database optimization.

Experience developing or maintaining high‑throughput, scalable backend systems.

Knowledge of backend performance optimization, concurrency, and production troubleshooting.

Good understanding of containerization and cloud deployments.

Preferred Skills

Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ/AWS SQS.

Couchbase or equivalent NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/DynamoDB.

Kubernetes deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting experience.

Experience in FinTech, Payments, E-commerce, Telecom, or other high‑transaction environments.

Key Priority:

Strong hands‑on Golang and AWS experience, along with solid backend engineering fundamentals and experience handling scalable production systems.
