Job summary

AEON Bank is seeking a capable Backend Engineer to own and advance the digital banking platform's core services. You will design scalable microservices, implement secure REST APIs, and guide the team toward code quality and efficient deployment.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver reliable backend solutions, mentor engineers, and ensure health monitoring, performance, and security across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience with modern software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Lead backend development across engineering functions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver digital banking UX.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable microservices.
• Mentor the backend team and codify best practices.
