Job summary

Lavu Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Backend Developer to contribute across the full software lifecycle from concept to deployment. You'll design scalable APIs in C# .NET and Node.js, optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL schemas, and containerize with Docker while deploying on AWS.

Collaborate with frontend, product teams, and stakeholders, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, testing and deploying backend services and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of C# .NET (incl. .NET Core) and Node.js.
• Proficient in SQL Server and PostgreSQL database design and tuning.
• Experience containerizing apps with Docker and deploying to AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs using C# .NET and Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL schemas; ensure data integrity and performance.
• Containerize deployments with Docker and manage environments across DEV/QA/Prod.
• Leverage AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS) for scalable apps.
• Code review, debugging, and ensuring high quality, maintainable backend code.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve reliability and performance of backend systems.
• Contribute to process improvements and keep up with tech trends.
