Hexamatics Servvcom Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Azure Analyst SME to design, implement, govern, and operate Azure cloud services with a strong emphasis on IaC, automation, and platform engineering.

You will lead infrastructure projects, develop IaC with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates, manage landing zones, networking, security, and CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers on cloud best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or platform administration.
• 3+ years designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Proven IaC implementation experience in enterprise settings.
• Strong expertise in Azure, Terraform/Bicep/ARM templates, networking, IAM, VMs, Monitor, and cloud ops.
• PowerShell and automation scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and operational best practices.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure per security standards.
• Develop and optimize IaC solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM.
• Lead provisioning and lifecycle management of Azure resources via automation.
• Design landing zones, governance, and subscription management.
• Manage Azure networking: VNet, ExpressRoute, NSGs, load balancers, private endpoints.
• Configure compute, storage, identity, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with security teams on controls and governance.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex Azure platform and network issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on cloud best practices.

The Azure Analyst - Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for the design, implementation, governance, and operational management of Azure cloud services, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud platform engineering. The role serves as the technical authority for Azure infrastructure and provides leadership in the adoption of cloud best practices, security standards, and scalable architecture patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure in alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates
• Lead the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Azure resources through automation and DevOps practices
• Design and support Azure landing zones, governance frameworks, subscription management, and resource organization strategies
• Implement and manage Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Private Endpoints
• Configure and support Azure compute, storage, identity, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security controls, compliance requirements, and governance policies
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure deployment and platform automation
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Azure platform, networking, and infrastructure issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering and operations teams on cloud best practices and automation methodologies

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or platform administration
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Terraform and/or Bicep, Azure Networking, Azure Identity and Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID), Azure Virtual Machines and Platform Services, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cloud operations
• PowerShell and automation scripting
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and operational best practices
