Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Azure Subject Matter Expert to design, implement, govern, and operate Azure cloud services with a strong IaC and automation focus. The role requires leadership in cloud best practices, security standards, and scalable architecture patterns.

You will develop IaC using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates, manage landing zones, networking, monitoring, and DR strategies, and guide engineering teams in adopting DevOps practices for cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• Minimum 3 years designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and/or Bicep; Azure IAM; Azure VMs and Platform Services; Azure Monitor/Log Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure aligned with security standards.
• Develop and optimize IaC solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Lead provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Azure resources via automation and DevOps.
• Design and support Azure landing zones, governance, subscription management, and resource organization.
• Implement and manage Azure networking (VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Load Balancers, App Gateways, Private Endpoints).
• Configure and support Azure compute, storage, identity, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security controls and governance policies.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure deployment and platform automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Azure platform, networking, and infrastructure issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering and operations teams.
