Job summary

S&P Global, Inc. is seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure professional to design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure environments that underpin data, analytics and AI workloads.

This role focuses on landing zones, networking, identity, security baselines, and reliability, with emphasis on data ingestion, modelling and performance at scale. You will work across CAF-aligned designs, IaC-driven deployments, and end-to-end data platforms, collaborating with analytics and AI teams to

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Azure core infrastructure experience (compute, storage, identity).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• IaC-driven platforms development and operations (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Familiar with CAF, Well-Architected Framework, and Zero Trust concepts.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production systems and data workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate Azure landing zones aligned to CAF and governance standards.
• Build and manage Azure networking components and identity access controls.
• Own compute and platform services (VMs, AKS, App Services) and IaC pipelines.
• Monitor, optimize availability, performance, and cost; collaborate with security teams.
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines and Azure data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory).
