Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore is seeking a skilled cloud infrastructure engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, deploy, and maintain our cloud environment in Malaysia. The role emphasizes cost optimization, security posture, and VDI management to support our cloud-first strategy.

You will collaborate with IT and DevOps, implement IaC with Terraform or ARM templates, and generate reports on cost savings and performance.

Responsibilities

• Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud services including VMs, storage, and networks.
• Implement and maintain VDI solutions for secure remote desktops.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and reliability of Azure-based infrastructure.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze Azure usage and costs using Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor; identify cost-saving strategies; review billing for optimal utilization.
• Security Enhancement: Improve the Azure Security Score; implement encryption, secure data storage, and regulatory security standards.
• Automation and Efficiency: Use IaC tools like Terraform or ARM Templates to automate resource provisioning; automate scaling, monitoring, and backups; integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration and Support: Work with IT, DevOps and application teams; support VDI environments; document cloud architecture and best practices.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Set up Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana; generate reports on cost savings, security improvements, and VDI performance.
• Provostively identify trends and issues to optimize system operations and user experiences.
