Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain AWS-based solutions in production. You will join an agile, cross-functional team and help automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and CloudFormation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of AWS experience, familiarity with Terraform, and strong problem-solving skills. You will document processes, optimize costs, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud services.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on AWS experience in production.
• Experience implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Hands-on ops for cloud-based production systems (monitoring, patching, upgrades).
• Understanding of IaC and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues individually and in a team.
• Experience in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Understanding of SaaS/PaaS/IaaS delivery models at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, implement, and maintain AWS cloud tech.
• Set up and support CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Architect and develop cloud solutions to meet project needs.
• Work in agile, cross-functional teams for delivery success.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues individually and with the team.
• Operate and support IT infrastructure to meet service levels.
• Provide AWS production maintenance (monitoring, patching, updates).
• Demonstrate IaC DevSecOps practices for project deliveries.
• Use CloudFormation to automate deployments.
• Build and support AMIs and Auto Scaling Groups.
• Improve cost allocation via resource tagging and governance.
• Ensure implementations align with client standards and policies.
• Review and improve support processes using best practices.
• Document processes, standards, and runbooks.
• Maintain knowledge of tech trends and development best practices.
