Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an AVP, Sr Exec, User Testing (Channels & Digital). The role leads UAT for retail banking apps, covering self-service and mobile channels, ensuring quality and traceability from requirements to production readiness.

You will review functional specs, train staff, and support deployment and post-implementation activities. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; automation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in functional testing in retail banking domain.
• Experience testing channels such as self-service and mobile banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and manage user acceptance testing for retail banking applications.
• Understand user requirements, review specifications and plan testing coverage.
• Ensure end-to-end testing quality, defect reporting, and timely progress tracking.
• Support operational readiness, pilot runs, health checks and post-implementation reviews.
• Provide training on UAT management and contribute to disaster recovery testing.

It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.**Job Description*** Lead, coordinate and manage user acceptance testing for retail banking applications* Understand user requirement, review functional specification and plan the testing to ensure adequate testing coverage* Manage end to end testing ensuring quality test verification and documentation, defect reporting, issue resolution, and progress tracking in timely manner* Support business/ operation users in operational readiness, pilot run, health check and project post implementation* Responsible in developing system functionality and user training manual, target operating model and other relevant documentation where applicable* Analyze and provide support/ relevant input on production issues and/ or customer complaints channeled via support staff/ helpdesk.* Participate in country and group level projects as assigned from time to time* Identify and initiate improvements in the test processes and execution* Ensure application parameters setup are carried out with proper control* Provide in-depth training to new hire/existing staff on user acceptance testing management and production support* Participate and assist in coordinating department disaster recovery and business continuity annual testing* Assist department head in resolving audit findings in timely manner* Perform ad hoc assignment/ tasks as assigned by department head from time to time**Requirements:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent* Minimum 5 years of experience in functional testing in retail banking domain* Knowledge in retail banking operations, products and services* Experience in testing one or more banking channels such as self-service banking, mobile banking* Good communication and interpersonal skills* Able to work independently and as a team player* Practical knowledge on automation testing tools is an added advantage## **Additional Requirements**Be a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
